During Deepavali ( fastival of Light), most of the houses are decorated with tiny light bulb in India. I tried to do something different with those tiny bulbs.

Those are pretty good. The closed I ever came to that effect was the day I got my camera and was testing it on the Christmas lights and picked it up too soon. Mine did not look near as fine.

Painting with light......very nice MC. I am assuming that you waved the camera about whilst pointing at the lights? very clever.

You can get some great effects. I used the zoom ring on this shot

Ingenious - both of you. I like the effect - particularly adjusting the zoom during the exposure.

Very creative shots both of you, just shows what can be achieved by doing something a little different.

Hi Liu, just saw your pictures. Clever idea indeed. As already pointed out, I think moving and zooming offer endless possibilities. Good luck!
