Winter is settingvery fast in Montreal. The temperature at night is cold, (-2 to -4C). I went for a nice walk in the woods and came across the attached shots, nothing spectacular but I think they are interesting. Enjoy.

Rock with lichens growing onto it. Used Nikon 6T for a close-up.

Nice set of shots. I like #4 with that little plant all hunkered down for the winter.

#1 and #6 are my favorites. It is amazing how fast a tree can grow around objects, the iron is good for the tree, I am told. Don't know if this is true. Nice series.
