Went to get horsefeed, on the way home, this is what I saw. All of a sudden, from broad day to almost night.

And then, just a minute or so later.

No processing involved in these, as I wanted to show what I saw. A few minutes later, the cloud was gone. I was hoping for rain.

That is strange Jerry. The first one looks like your just about to catch a real bad storm and then #2 is just beautiful. You captured the sun rays perfectly.

Thanks, Deter and Don. It was quite unusual. I got the first photo in program mode and then switched to aperture priority and got the second. I took several in each mode. Picked what I thought were the best to post. It was unusually different, in that it got dark and then brightened up somewhat. I was glad the camera was right there.

Nice shots and awesome sky. Your rain, it snuck up North and is here. I am trying to get it to go back though.

Both excellent shots Jerry, definitely a case of being in the right place at the right time

Very nice shots Jerry. Love the colours and shapes in the first, and the second has captured those rays very well.

To all, thanks for commenting. It was a real dark cloud that moved across the sun. Then as the things moved, the second shot was there. I was just luck to have the camera with me.

Thanks again, Steve, Ted, Mark and Rafael.
