A little behind on these, but thought you might enjoy. The FZ30 is not considered a low light camera, but when you have a tripod and a long exposure it does OK in my view. I generally like the shots when I can be bothered staying in town after dark.

A couple of sunsets first.......a sepia version

and a black and white version from the bridge you can see above

Joggers stretching...a bit blurry but I like the feel, did not set up the tripod and had the camera resting in a thin rail whilst I held it.

railway station across the river

the concert hall all lit up

me playing around with the self timer.....a bit of flash and blur

the theatre crowd

the theatre district

a pub on the orner

to catch the train home, I wish they would decide on what lighting they want, the lighting along the side is lovely and golden but they have these high powered things on the front of the building that make it look sickly...when my PP skills improce I might try and even it out in Photoshop

hope you enjoyed the evening in Melbourne town.

Very nice series of night shots Rafael. FZ30 does just about anything you want it to, if you just know how.

Once again a great set of city images Raphael, I could not pick one as all are winners.

Very nice series Rafael. I like them all but my favorite is the one with the palm trees, the sharpness/clarity and colours are exceptional.
