I`ve been housebound for the last week due to gales and driving rain, so yesterday boredom took its toll and I looked around for something to shoot....both shot in Raw and PP`d in photshop cs2.

#1 this sums up the miserable weather here at present....

#2 I think this is one of those shots you either love or hate, I liked the shadows. Its also testament to the fz50`s IS - having been taken at 1/5th sec handheld....

Hi Mark, the first capture portrays your mood and weather, the second, I love the highlights and shadows. Well done.

As mentioned, one is a nice mood shot. And two is indeed sharp as can be. Not just IS, but you must be a steady guy.

Thanks Emmanuel and thanks Steve. It helped shooting at wide angle, but even so the full size shot of #2 didnt appear sharp at all(it would have been unusable without the IS).Just shows how downsizing shots can help with sharpness sometimes.

Nice Mark.....you could start a series on rainy window shots. Love the condensation coming up the right hand corner.

I really like #2. I think your mood is evident here too, the feeling of being chained in in this case by the inclement weather. They actually make a nice complimentary set.

Mark, two very nice shots. Agree with the others about the effects of the shots. Wish I was that steady holding the camera.
