I could be totally wrong .. I don't have the time to look closely. But
the frontscape of the photo here

looks a bit multiple exposure or photoshopped because the time periods for each of the effects, from the spray to the washouts of the small pools appear to be different time periods. I say this, only, from limited experience of watching water flow.

The spray should be more dense if the time exposure for it is the same as the drain out of the small pools in the front. At least that's my opinion.. as right or wrong as it is. (and it's either right or wrong)
