Drove by the river and found these ducks. Usuallythey fly South for the winter. Forfew years now they stay behind as people are feeding them. Enjoy.

A very nice series. But, I do wonder if people feeding them, causing them not to migrate is a good idea on the one hand. But, as you know, duck hunting is a big sport here in the south during the migration. So, they actually maybe safer there.

P. S. the forums have all been quiet lately.

Thanks for commenting Jerry. Yes, it is quiet around here lately. What has happened to people that used to be around in this forum? Are they to tired to respond? moved to another forum?Only fewof us from the old crowd remain.

Nice duck shots. Mallards in the right light are very fine ducks even if they are common. I think they will say anywhere there is open water and a food supply no matter how cold it gets so I hope both of those remain for them. There are hundreds of them around here.

Thanks for your comments Steve. Years ago they used to fly South, since people started feeding them they stay back.

Nice shots of the ducks Emmanuel, I always count on them to have something to shoot. I found a park that has a lot of different varieties of ducks now if I can just find some sunshine.
