The buds in the new hibiscus plant started blooming, and surprise, it was a different variety with patterned petals!

This had red on the front and powdery-white on the back.

Unlike the normal hibiscus, this flowerdoes not show its face and is always drooping. You need to hold it to see the petals.

Beautiful captures, Raghu. I am amazed at what you do with the FZ3. I hope I do as well with the new D300 when it comes in, at least if I can learn to use it. Maybe later I will get a close up lens.

Nice shots of the most unusual hibiscus I have ever seen. I hope nothing eats it.
