We don't have too much sun here lately, but birds we got. And the cold miserable wind keeps folk away so the birds come into the harbor and shore areas more.

First shot taken yesterday with C-180 on FZ18.

1. Bufflehead stretch. If there was any sun perhaps his eye would show up.

TCON-17 shots

2. Buffleheads and Canada Goose.

3. A gaggle of geese.

4. Bathing Gull.

Click on any picture and you will be taken to a flickr slide show where you can see around twenty TCON-17 shots. Or more if I add them. I got carried away and have a slew of nice shots. It is a lot easier to get good flight shots with this one then with the C-180 I am thinking.

As always your bird shots ars beautiful and inspirational. I admire your patience and perseverence. You probably have a very warm coat:-).

Does the tcon attach directly to the camera or do you have to buy a convertor too?

Thanks doto41. Coat not all that warm, but I wear layers.

TCON needs an adapter. I purchased the ones Gene T uses, except for the TCON-17 I don't use the 55/52 downsizer needed for the C-180.
