Ahh spring. In Sweden we usually have winter by this time of year, about a half a meter of snow and -5 degrees C.

But this year have been perfect. Warm and snowfree, around 0 degrees. These pics ware taken in the beginning of march.

My son throwing rocks in the (almost icefree) water. The birdsare happy. The Birch have not yet broken leaf, but soon.. And the spring flowers is taunting us with wonderful colors.

Keep posting in this forum. allthough I have been a member for alot of years I haven´t been posting alot. But this will end now. We have a great range of cameras in the Pana FZ family. Show us your work.

Daniel L.

And since I couldn´t figure out how to attach more than one pic to each post I will have to reply on my own post.

Interesting photos. I especially like the blue flowers, are they a variety of Iris? We have some wild ones here that look very similar. I am waiting for spring to arrive, still have alot of snow but it has started melting the past few days.

Yes, it is a kind of Iris. Translated from swedish the name is "Spring Iris" :-) Have no idea what the latin name is.

The bird is one of the titmice, Parus caeruleus, known in English as the "Blue Tit." I especially like the persepctive of the birch trees.

Real nice work Daniel. The first shot of the trees is exceptional!
