Rachunter-

For the time being we can all set up a flickr account and have the EXIF data available to us that way. What is the procedure for uploading photos to a flickr account? Photo Bucket has a little uploading module.

Sarah,

Iusethe "flickr downloader" its free and it seems to work very well.

Ialsosigned up for the flickr pro account which gives you unlimited uploads for $25 per year. That seemed like a good deal to me.

When you view a picture in flickr you can also scroll down to where it says:

taken with (camera type will be here)

click onthat link and it will lead you to photos taken only with that kind of camera.

That is what I have figured out so far, I'm sure it does much more.

Thanks a lot, Rachunter-

I really do appreciate the additional Flickr information. I was able to upload without any problems this evening.

Thanks!

The lighting wasn't too bad. Better in some spots then others.

here's a link to the EXIF data. No flash was used.

Do these count? FZ18, but because it is winter, I have a TCON-17 attached most of the time as the birds I shoot are out in Lake Michigan. I do take it off for flight shots sometimes and on gloomy days, but the gloomy day shots are not that great and I would have to hunt around to find flight shots I did not use it for. (Mainly because I probably did not upload them I have so many on flickr already)

Click on any picture to go to flckr and see more if you want.

Flickr Lesson. (works for other sites also.)

[img][/img]

copy your image location url and paste it in above coding between img and /img. (I can't put the brackets here due to coding strangness but pretend you see them.)

Put the picture page url after the = sign. Or some other url. I usually use the generic url to my photo stream.

If you do that any picture will be a clickable link to whatever url is after the equal sign.

I don't think this was stated before, but I have a cold so if I missed it forgive the duplication.

If you want you can join the flickr FZ18 group also. Or just look at all the pictures.
