"I just sold my FZ18. It's a good camera...probably the best in its class."

Nice shots Tullio. I like the first one best because it is something I don't see around here. Might I ask what you replaced it with?

Thanks, Steve. I haven't replaced it with anything just yet. The thing is, I spent too much money on my new Oly system (got the E510 a few months back and then started buying lenses left to right) and washardly using the FZ18. Since I have the Sony H1 (can not get much money for it) and my wife has the Oly SP 560UZ, which is also an 18x zoom camera, I figured Icould make some money selling theFZ18. It was a hard decision to make because it was like new with extra battery and3-filter set and it'sa very capable camera. At the moment, an old LZ2 is the only Pana I have.

Here are a few more shots taken with it...this is from a sunset.

Tullio,

Thank you, I really like your sunrise picture. I bet it was hard to go on into work that morning.

Maybe you or Happy peasant can help me.

I think the bird in my pic is a hawk maybe a red tail....what do you guys think.

I think it is a Kestrel. Probably a female. Males have slate or blue on them like the one below. Females are all reddish brown.

When it comes to bird's names, I can not be much of a help. I love to photograph them but know very little about them.

Now I won't be able to catch the sunrise on my way to work until November when the clocks change back. By the time I get to work, the sun is already up!

Nice, colorful bird, Steve!
