I really like your "another bird shot."

Sarah JOyce
Thanks Sarah. I rather like it too. for two reasons: First, it is a very rare bird where I live and I was lucky to find it and get some nice pictures. Second, all these avid birders came once I reported it and posted some shots, and many of them are coming with DSLRs and lense a foot long or more, and nobody yet has gotten shots as good as mine. The bird helped by getting right close to me of course, but it does make the FZ18 shine.

At least half a dozen birders around here have purchased this camera because of my bird shots.

This is a panoramic trial with FZ18 and Panorama Maker. The landscape is very beautiful, but the man behind the camera ...

This is a view of GuaĆ*ba River - Porto Alegre - Rio Grande do Sul - Brasil.

I agree with Sarah. That curving road in front shows so well.

Sergio, nice stitching job on the pano. There are many beautiful places to visit in Rio Grande do Sul and this appearsto be one of them. I've been to the most popular turist towns (Gramado, Canela)and Serras Gauchas but that was about it. Never made it to Porto Alegre or to this place. How's Gremio and Inter doing??? - for those who don't know, they are the two majorsoccer teams in that State.

Tullio and Daniel, thanks for yours commentes. I'm just a beginer in digital photo.
The landscape shoted is very beautiful. There is a wonderful sunrise, but I didn't get a good light for shot. The same landscape, at a cloudy sunrise is in the link:

Next week I'll return to Porto Alegre and I hope to get a brilliant sunrise.

Internacional will compete the final of Gaucho championship. Gremio is out.

We had a storm move through this afternoon (04/20) that left some beautiful clouds. So I wanted to share a photo of those cloudswith you. Another good FZ-18 photo.
