Just a few birds. I don't think I have posted any of these. FZ18. Probably with a TCON-17.

Buffleheads are one of the smallest ducks. The black bird is an American Crow. The day was very gloomy.

They caught me by surprise or this might have been sharper.

Flying dart. Or a merganser but they look like darts to me.

Buffleheads taking off. The black and white headed one is a male. The males are slightly larger then the females. Still tiny though.

Gull in front of condo hi-rise.

Enjoy,
Steve

Steve, those are nice captures, the first and second look about what I get most of the time. Not the camera's fault, but mine. The third, I agree does resemble a dart, amazed at the clarity. Four and five are equally nice.

Dart is the apt word. Nice captures. I can't stand the first one, though. Gloomy indeed, for the duck.

That photo has received a lot of comments where shown. I mentioned once about having some graphic bird shots I did not post and someone said post some. That one is pretty mild partially because it is gloomy.

Thanks for commenting, and thanks also Jerry and Emmanuel.
