I know...there have been some moons in this forum over the last years.This one is shot with my tcon 17 and FZ 18.

That's a great shot. Very clear and sharp. How about trying Saturn?

There is a program called CyberSky (downloadable free) whichgives the sky map of planets and stars for every conceivable location on earth. The one for Stockholm for this evening is given below. Please try.

I am very sorry Raghu, but the sky is clouded this night. But I will look into that program and try to find Saturn.

Actually, there was a person in this forum a few years back that did manage to take a foto of saturn. You could se a dot with a ring around it. Very impressive since we´re not talking telescopes here. Sorry to say I don´t recall his name. The pic is probably somewhere here in this forum, but a long way back.

Anyone remembers??

The EXIF reads F3.7, 1/60 sec, ISO 80, taken on Feb 5, 2006 around 9pm.
