South Indiais well known for small level decoration work, be it for political rallies, weddings or even religious events.Small size serial lampsare extensively used for creating a vibrant display at nightthat can beseen from a long distance. I happened to spot three such ornamental work withina short time on a single ride out a few days back. Fortunately, I had my camera with me. I hope you will also like these as much as I liked them.

and 3. Eachis built on a frame of thin bamboo strips tied criss-cross to suit the figure, and then the lamps are pinned or tied on to the frame. The structures measure approx 10-12 ft wide and 15-20 ft tall.
