Since a week I owe a TZ5, great camera and great pictures, but especially on sunny days and in very bright light there are vertical purple stripes on the display of my TZ5, is this normal or could this be a problem?

The photo's are perfect, so there's no problem.

Thanks in advance,
André

That's common when pointing your camera at a very/overly bright, especially backlitsubject. I've seen it on my TZ5 too, as well and the TZ3 and most any other digicam where I've composed using the LCD or an electronic viewfinder.
