How do you turn this feature off?

I got my camera yesterday and I find that the time and date is on the bottom of every picture I take.
Is there a way to turn this feature off?

I can't seem to find it in the manual.

Thanks for your help.

It's an easy one to fix. Here is the manual http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/DMCTZ4.PDFand go to page 73.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I really do hate manuals, they're always so darn confusing. I usually have better success just fooling around with things until I can figure them out. The TZ5 maual is not exactly a paragigm of clarity either (lol).

But so far it looks to be one heck of a great little camera.

It's going top take me a while to get the hand of all the available adjustments.

Or, of course, I could just leave it on iA and let the camera do all the heavy lifting.

I don't recommend this. Unless high ISO noise does not bother you.
But if it does, it's much better to fiddle with the settings, choosing a relatively low ISO setting and taking advantage of the optical stabilization to obtain better pictures (=with lower noise).

Do you know if there's a way to set the clock to a 12 hour mode (AM/PM) rather than a 24 hour mode?

Thanks.

You know in that manual that you hate if you check the index then under the clock settings it says time is displayed in 24 hour format and there is no option to be changed. It's p19 if you want to take a look.
