Default FZ2 vs FZ1 and question for Panasonic Bob!

Hi to all!
I have just excange my FZ1 for a new FZ2, the second one have many little change:
One is to show in viewfinder the factor of magnification (2x 3x and so on)
Another is that you can see realtime how the picture you are taking can be. To do this you have to half press the shutter button.
I like this function!

I have tried some shoot in S mode with flash, and i see a little bug: when i try to take pics over 1/1000 sec, the flash is to mutch powerfull and saturate all the pic.
This don't happen in 1/800 sec.

Panasonic Bob, can you explain better? THANKS!!!
(hem.. sorry for my poor english!)

here you can see the example of the problem:

For starters, we have no scheduled date to release the FZ2 and my knowledge of it is much less than the FZ1. However, I have had considerable discussions with our Engineers in Jpan and neither of the two items you mention differ from the FZ1. I suspect that you may have some menu selections set differently.

As for the shutter speed vs flash, I believe that when the flash fires the shutter speed defaults to 1/60th so that they can sync properly.

I'll have to put these questions on my list and get clarification when / if we release it here in the U.S.

I sold my FZ1 to a frend and buy the new FZ2 in Germany at a good price.
I like FZ1, if you want to see some shoot look here

www.petino.it/miky/london

but I prefere FZ2 for the manual control.

Thanks Panasonic Bob for your answer!
For the flash question, FZ2 haven't problem with times bellow 1/1000, but from 1/1000 to 1/2000 the power of flash is too strong! If you can, ask to Japan Engineers!
Ciao!

Since we aren't supporting it here, yet, please present this to Panasonic in Germany who officially supports the model.
Thanks
