Default turn fz1 off after each photo?

hello
how to you use your fz1?
each time you take a photo you turn the camera off or you just leave it in standbye till it shut down and then just press the shutter to "wake up" the camera?
just curiosity..

No harm would come to the camera leaving it on, though you'll see your battery lefo go very fast! Take the photo and turn it off after each photo.

so theres no problem about the lens go in and out a lot of times in just a couple of minutes? nothing will happend to it? :?

No prolem at all. We actual cycle test it where it's allowed to zoom in and out for days on end.
