is there anyone here that can point me in the direction of a good tutorial for photomatix or mediachance hdr as my hrd images are not good as quoted by others on here , i must be doing somthing wrong

I think you may be too hard on yourself.....not all photos lend themselves to HDR.....

and you are pretty new to this...keep trying.

CS3 is pretty good at HDR but I have nothing to compare it to.....Photomatrix has been reported to be good and I just saw a link on dpreview for a free program but I did not bookmark that.

Anyway genece is right: not all subjects benefit from HDR manipulation.
