What are the best setting for shooting racing motorbikes with an FZ18 here are some of the results from yesterday but i'm not happy with them as i think they can be clearer....

I lost my reply to you, but it was all guesses, because there is no exif......post the exif and we can most likely help you out.....

Kind of looks like a high ISO was used and the NR ruined the photos.....a couple also look like a lack of contrast , perhaps due to not using the hood.

Exif would be helpful in determining what could be done in improving your nice shots by the way.

All of them look slightly out of focus. Spot focusing could help. Your resizing these shots for post could contribute to some of the softness seen in your examples.

Another possibility is too much cropping.

Without the exif though it is difficult to pinpoint what adjustments need to be made.
