Default FZ10 used for FZ1 promo

I find it funny that if you go to vanns.com they are using a picture of a FZ10 for a FZ1 promo. Also, the promo says it includes 4 AA batteries, when of course, neither the FZ1 or the FZ10 uses AA's.

I can see it now...

The Panasonic DMC-FZ10 super deal! Now includes 4 cup holders and a blank CD for FREE!

Seriously, I wouldn't buy anything from these guys.

Even more surprising, Panasonic Canada makes the same mistake:

Don't think so, the lack of the hotshoe is apparent.
But the MSRP is way inflated!

Nope, that's the FZ1.

The FZ10 has a switch on the side of the camera right next to the "12x" The FZ1 does not. I am guessing that this switch is either for (a) turning the auto/manual focus on/off or (b) turning the I.S. on/off.

Yup, you're right, it's a FZ1. Mine is black and the grey one on the picture reminded me more of all the grey FZ10s i've seen than the FZ1... My mistake!

So? Do the conversion.
It's equivalent to US$583. Way inflated compared to the US$450 MSRP south of the border.
