A 'cool' series of photos. I really like the snowman shot. We haven't really had much snow hit this far down the country.

Just curious, what is the first time in 18 years about?

Hi Mark

It was the first time we had proper snow in London for 18 years....
The last big snow fall was in 1991.
But I don't remember it being as much as this one. I remember in the 80's there was one year when we had as much as now or even more.

Londoners went mad. People of all ages were like kids in Hyde Park running around - having snow ball fights etc. There was hardly any transport so many shops were closed and no buses - it was a bit like a holiday.

So for many Londoners it was the first time they saw snow all over the city!

Glad to you enjoyed the pics.

Ah, I hadn't realised that. I know there was some quite heavy snow back in Oct where it settled in London but probably not nearly so much.
