Well I picked up a L3 over the holidays to use when I just could not take my Pentax dSLR traveling with me. I was over in San Diego during the week, so after my meetings I went around Coronado Island the and the San Diego waterfront during the evening. So they are all ambient light - no flash. With the Leica f2 lens, Image Stabilization, and a reasonable sensor, this camera is very exceptional.

These are all with out a tripod, setting the camera on a bench or a railing for stability or in a couple of cases hand held. If I remember right I used IA mode, to see what it would do. Also, almost forgot - all are straight out of the camera, un-retouched other than resizing and a couple were cropped a bit...

Some nice shots here. The 2nd to last is probably my fave. The one before the horizon is off so that is taking some of the impact away from it being a stronger photo.

I really like what this little camera can do.
