I am plannin to add a UV filter to my Fz28 camera. the mainreason is to protect the lens from damage..

Can any one of u suggest which lens adapter to use.. i would like 2 buy an adapter that doesn't cause vignetting while taking wide angle shots..

Or, it is advisable to go for a 46mm filter which directly fits on the lens.. will this setup offer good protection..

Thankin U in advance,

Deepak Prabhakaran...

Hi,

I'm not an expert, by any stretch of the imagination, but with my recent purchase of a FZ28, I bought a Hoya 46 mm UV filter and put it straight on the lens.
As you mentioned, I did this mainly to protect the lens.

Regards
Barry
