No padding. Just regular fanny pack.

Basically, it's so full there isno much room for knocking around- certainly no room for padding. Main pocket holds tcon17, c210, dcr250 (all in seperate leather bags) and the fz1 with adapter, uv filter, lenscap, and strap. Front pocket has b-macro lensin plastic case, dcr250 snap-on adapter, 3 step rings, spare battery, and polarizer and r72 ir filters in a leather case. Side pockets on fannypack strap hold sd cards.

Ampac brand available for $12 at http://passengerstop.com/view_item.php?id=763&

Fred,

Did it feel awkward to have the Olympus bag dangling from the strap when you were trying to take photographs?
