MrMister111,

Actually I've bought the batteries and the case at EBay.
Batteries:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=360155031058
Case:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...EOIBSA:US:1348

Batteries work fine - so far I can't see any difference with the original one.
Case is still in the transit.

The battery is interesting, with the insurance, will be 11.50, is it the same voltage as original ie ebay one is 3.6V, I thought panasonic was 3.7?

But if it works fine, I'm still not sure if I need one tbh, I wont use it normally, only if I go out for a day trip, or will 1 battery last anyway? be video and stills

still looking for a "normal" leather case that is going to fit though

Regarding playing TZ7 videos back on ones Plasma TV- appreciate advice regarding this as function not working on my Samsung Plasma.
After connecting camera to TV, I can view all photos but no video in either format.
Appreciate any advice re this

Can I ask how the battery is going? Its just I think 1 will do for me, but when I go away on summer holiday, I'm thinking on a day trip my original might run out? with video and stills? so may need another one?

what you think? and is the one you say fine?
cheers

MrMister111,

I've tested the battery last Saturday in real "production" conditions and... didn't find any difference between OEM one and the "cheap" one: working time, heating when I intensively used video were the same. During the session I've made 1 SDHC formatting, about 60 stills and 20 minutes of HD video. The charge indicator still show 2 of 4 bars (50%).

It looks like the set of 2 "cheep" and 1 OEM batteries should be enough for cover whole day work of ZS3 during my trip to Europe in July. And I believe that 2 SDHC cards which I have (8GB & 16GB) also should be enough.
