Default Recent FZ-20 shots

I've recently had to go back to shooting with my FZ-20. Here are some samples.

The FZ20 is a great camera and your pictures reinforces my statement. I had one and liked it in many ways. But, just like anything else, it became obsolete. If I did not need the money, I'd have kept it.

These are really nice pictures, Bob! Did you use a tripod for these?

Hi Bob,

These pictures are just beautiful! To add to Mike's question did you use a special lens attachment for little bug? Wow!

Thanks for taking a look and commenting. To answer your questions, no I did not use a tripod or add-on lense for these shots. They are however processed in photoshop.

Obsolete is kind of a strong word to describe the FZ20. It holds up rather well as one can see with shots like this being posted. It has some quirks but overall it is one of the better cams out there yet. It may not have 24x zoom and I have yet to see impressive work like this from the newer cams. It all comes down to who uses it and what add-ons that can be used to expand on its capabilites.

Noise levels in low light is not very good I give it that but for most shots besides that it does rather admirably. I still like my FZ1v2 the best though. Infrared is just a kewl feature that can't be had as easily using a $45 filter.
