I didn't get any shots, it was slightly overcast during the eclipse. There were a few breaks here and there, long enough for me to see a reddish brown moon, but I wasn't able to get any shots.

So the B300 works on that 12x Leica Lens? Wow, that is teriffic news. I am counting myself among the growing hoardes of FZ10 wanna-own's, have a B300, and was wondering about their compatability. Couple questions if you please:
1) Does the B300 attach directly to the lens using a 72mm to 55mm step down ring?
2) How much vignetting occurs with this combination? Do you have to zoom all the way out to 12x to eliminate it?
Thanks!

Attaches to the fz10 lens hood 72mm threads.
There is a slight amount of vignetting even at full 12x zoom with the fz10 + tcon17(b300). The fz10 lens does not extend out to the end of the hood/adapter. If the tcon17 could be attached closer to the extended lens, vignetting would be reduced somewhat.
