Try looking on eBay for "FZ1 charger"

Click the link below to go to eBay and a list of FZ1 chargers:

NOTE: I do not have any experience with any of these chargers, so I can not tell you if they are good or bad.

There is a fz1 charger on ebay for the Panasonic DMW-BM7 battery which is the battery that comes with the fz1 in Japan. I t doesnt look the same as the the charger that comes with the US fz1 (Panasonic #DE-928A) but if it charges the DMW-BM7 it should charge the CGA-S002A as well. It also comes with a car cig adapter. $25 + ship.

FYI, the link that FMoore provided is to an Eagle Imports auction, and they are the only ones who I have found to provide non-OEM batteries that actually work/fit the FZ1. I'm sure their charger will also work fine. I'm tempted to get one just because of the car adapter that comes with it.

I've tried a total of four vendors on eBay to get 3rd-party CGA-S002 batteries. Eagle Import's battery fits perfectly in the FZ1, and offers identical (if not better) performance to the OEM battery. Two other vendors who I bought 3rd-party batteries from sent me batteries that were not even the same size or shape as the CGA-S002 battery or they were just slightly too big or not notched properly to allow the battery to fit or lock in place on either the charger or the camera. The fourth vendor who I bought a genuine Panasonic CGA-S002 battery from is actually located in Hong Kong, and the battery he sent me was in sealed, OEM packaging, but it will only charge 1/3 capacity. So, I have to send it back to Hong Kong for him to send me another one to try. I paid $36 for this OEM battery, but with shipping it back to Hong Kong, I'm up pretty close to the $50 range that the OEM battery is normally priced at here in the US. In the end, it wasn't worth it to try to shave a few dollars off the OEM price.
