Default FZ35 viewfinder

The FZ35 viewfinder is listed as 0,20", 201k pixels. How do you find this in practice? Is it cramped, easy to use, small compared to a DSLR? I'm thinking I'll be using it a lot and wonder about the size.

Thanks.

I use mine about 75% of the time, I have no issues with it.

wlpitcher-

The EVF viewfinder on the FZ-35 is really very good. I use in 99% of the time and love it.

Have a great day and a Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanks Anthony, Sarah,

With your help I've settled in on the FZ35.

Now the decision on whether to buy from the local camera shop for about $400 (plus tax) or on Amazon for about $325. I'd like to buy locally but for a total of say $100 difference I can get filters, an extra battery, a monopod walking stick and change.

I'll see what my wife thinks.

Think the price will go down as we near Christmas?

Thanks again,

Art

wlpitcher-

Congratulations on making a decision for the FZ-35. With today (11/27) being the so called "Black Friday," I think that any reduction in price as we move toward Christmas will be minimal.

Have a great day.

Anthony, Sarah,

Just ordered the FZ35 from Amazon for $324.28 plus a UV filter, will ship next Wed.

I called 6ave about the Hot Deal as the $295 wasn't coming up thru the link, even with the coupon code. They quoted $308.95 (plus shipping?) with 3 to 4 weeks delivery as it was not in stock. Better to stick with Amazon who has them in stock and with whom I'm had many good experiences.

Many thanks for all your help. Sorry I can't take your upcoming class Sarah, the commute would be a killer.

Thanks again,

Art
