Carl-

I believe you have made the right move. I think that should cure the problem. Please let us know.

Sarha & Jim
The Zeikos grip arrived yesterday, I tried it with my Sunpak Auto 2000 and it worked fine. I also tried it with and old Minolta Auto 320 flash and that also produced a well exposed photo. So the Vivitar SF 2000 appears to be the culprit for the bad shots. At least I can use it as a remote slave.

Thanks again for all your advice! It's been tough transitioning from film to digital.

Hi there, Carl-

I am glad to hear that you have things all sorted out. By using the Zeikos grip as the trigger, any flash unit can be used. And because there is no physical connection to the camera you are also free of any triggering voltage problems that could/would cause problems with your camera.

Have a great day and a Merry Christmas.
