Default FZ35 External Live View?

Hello all,

I am going to be getting the FZ35 in about a week or so, and I was wondering if anyone has tried plugging the HDMI cable into an external LCD and if it was possible to use the external LCD to view what would be on the cameras LCD, like an External Live View.

If anyone could test this out, that would be awesome. I asked the question somewhere else and someone else had heard it was possible, but couldn't confirm it.

Thanks!

I would believe it would, most camera that have hdmi send what is on the lcd to the hdtv. It works like that with my canon t1i and jvc hd camcorder.

hmm..I have one related question to owners of Panasonic HDTVs.

I recently bought hdmi-mini hdmi cable http://cgi.ebay.com/HDMI-Mini-to-HDMI-Digital-Video-Cable-1080p-Type-A-to-C_W0QQitemZ400098502080QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_Defau ltDomain_0?hash=item5d27baa5c0

but I cant get vierla link working .. in other words I cant acces it through my remote control, eventhough in manual it says its possible.
What im doing wrong?
viera link is enabled both in tvs options and in cameras options.
