Default What does the "DMC" title mean?

I know that "DSC" means digital still cameras, according to the Panasonic web site. So, what does DMC mean as in "DMC-FZ35"?? Does it mean "Dual Mode Camera"? For it's camera and video capabilities? I've looked all over the internet, including the Panasonic web site, and I'm not able to find anything regarding my question. Thanks!!

I'm not sure it does mean anything. You often see model numbers that don't have any special meaning.

If you look at the original press releases when Panasonic got into the digital still camera market using models prefixed with DMC, they used the term DSCs (Digital Still Cameras) throughout them (at least in the English versions of their press releases). ;-)
