Default Some First FZ35 Shots

Well, the first FZ35 is probably back at Amazon, and the new one came Wednesday. It was snowing lightly and 20 degrees F. I put the camera in the trunk and drove to the harbor, then walked a bit so it would have time to chill down to below freezing. Also, threw a TCON-17 on it. This was just a take a walk and experiment day, as there is lots that is different then my FZ18. I need to read a lot and experiment to figure out what all this stuff is. Sort of like modern computers that have all these new things happening. I do like that Manual allows for setting aperture and shutter speed while letting camera pick an ISO. I wish that they would have had exposure compensation to go with it. (learned that today when the sun came out.)

I forgot this forum does not auto-size pictures for best fit. Will have to remember that when I upload to Flickr so I can put larger shots here.

This is where I would have liked to have exposure compensation to play with. Shot is from the pier at my home park and is looking South at downtown. (little buildings on left.)

Zoomed in a bit. The building with the two antennas is seven and a half miles South of me.

Here is what a Goldeneye drake looks like when the sun is shining on him. This is the start of a dive.

Anyway, these are a few playing around shots while I get used to the camera. I would have played more today, things like a polarizing filter, but it was too cold to take my gloves off and mess with one. Maybe next time.

Things do seem better indeed, thanks. I just need to figure out all the differences now.
