I just ordered mine today from Amazon after many months of agonizing over how to upgrade from my FZ28. Finally decided that even if the Sony HX2 had a few more features, there's no way it would be as quick and handy as the FZ35.

The only thing I dread is trying to figure out how to get AVCHD to play in my Picasa program.

I've studied this camera for so long that I feel like I could build one.

In case anyone is interested, one of the reasons I settled on the FZ35 was the high speed burst. Sony has 10fps burst for ten shots and a long storage time. The FZs are only 3mp but I find the results just fine. They shoot almost an unlimited number of shots and store instantly. I really thing the FZ lens must be a good one. 3mp pictures shot in burst look really good to these old eyes.

Well my new FZ35 has been sitting idle, and I've been doing more typing than shooting, mainly because of the rain here, and I haven't been so well

So now I'm off to take some pics to share with you, and learn from all the wonderful people I am meeting at Steve's for your valuable advice.
