Default Campus Dove(s)

Here's some more CSUF campus wildlife, nesting just outside the English department. This spot is occupied every year despite the bird-wire and there always seems to be two little ones in the nest.

**I'm using LightRoom, resizing to 900 on the long end, 65% quality, resolution at 80...and it seems I'm losing an amount of detail/sharpness that concerns me--most noticeable in the feathers--which makes these pictures look a little more soft than the original [large] files. Am I doing something wrong or is this typical and I am just now seeing this?

Context: this resident Bulldog Dove is three stories up and has made her nest within anti-bird wire atop an aesthetic brick crossbeam. I used the railings as support for the camera.
C&C welcome.

Baby dove #1 moved a bit to stretch; I thought its little legs were "too cute." You can see the flank of baby #2 below Momma's belly.

And to remind ourselves how lucky we are, only 10 years ago you would have needed a $10,000 setup to get that shot, and 5kg of gear...
