Yeah, I compressed them down, and that is what makes them look out of focus. I was kinda surprised by that. I am no photo editing maven, I just reduced them by 25%, which crushes them down to less than 200kb. I am using Picasa but that also only shows small versions of the originals.

Greg

the forum is still eating them. it has to be below 1024 on the long side AND under 254kb or whatever it is.

your reduction in size by 25% must not be getting them under the 1024 pixel limit as they are each about 999 or 998 pixels which is the size that the forum will resize your photo too. and that resize is giving you even more compression as file sizes are all under 100kb as posted. hence they look really soft.

either tweak your compression and resizing methods, or use an external host.

i recommend the latter. then you only need to resize.

This is some impressive scenery. The shots look fine to me, but then, not having seen the place live, I can't really tell for sure.

Here is a link to them on Picasa. I did not upload the HDRs, but I will do that tomorrow night. I had to go to Phoenix for the day, which always ends up being a 13 hour day, so I am cooked

Hey Dustin

Has Steve's considered upping the limit?
