Default Shots from Seaworld

FZ35 was very impressive for me at Sea World...did a great job all of the mistakes were user error...I over exposed for the lighitng and lost a few shots...action shots came out good considering lighting and a 1/640 shutter...I did the best I could but i am learning more each outing...didn't realize there is so much to taking great pictures!!!

The colors really can confuse the camera too?

I forgot Shamu lol...I wasn't even in the Stadium I was standing behind 10 other people holding the FZ35 as high as could and utilising the LCD Screen to shoot with! The FZ35 did excellent especially at that zoom distance....

There seem to be something a little off on the first shot, the body of the dolphine seems to have flare or something on it.

But I like these shots. Were you tracking or was it just great timing with the arial shots with the orca and dolphin?

Tracking and ready by estimating where and when they were going to jump as the trainers always look at where and use their hand/arm to motion to that area like pointing a dog to an item to retrieve...AF Tracking works beautifully if enough light for the camera to see...wished I could have gotten to 1/800 or 1/1000 just not enough light...the flares are from the see through multi colored ceiling...
It looked like a White Light behind a Purple Banner? It's definitely bright purple, I couldn't figure it out either...

Great shots, LTZ-

The FZ-35/38 meets the challenge.
