I am sure it is just another name for a Teleconverter 1.7x...there must be a 1000 different ones out there with China flooding the market...

I would try and find something locally and take my camera in ask them to let me try it out first...I got my money back on mine...Amazon is great that way...

The thing to remember about the Panasonic Converters is Panasonic Engineers designed them "fit for purpose for the FZ35 camera" thats why the IQ was so much better when I stuck on the Panasonic LT-55 1.7x compared to the Hila Optics High Definition 2.2x Teleconverter...

No I must have the name wrong, maybe it's LT170. I think it's made by Olympus.

chillgreg, Hi. Yes that is the Olympus one, and from what I understand, its the most popular TC out there for FZ users.

The zoom capabilities are simply amazing on this camera. These are pictures using the EZ Extended Optical zoom. From lowest to highest - hand held- spot focus.

I think you file is not doing your shot justice. I think the board is eating up you uploaded file and making it look very soft. I would resize it to 900x600 to get it under 200kb. Think that will make the photo look way better for the board and closer to what your original viewing on you monitor.
