Default Options for FZ35 Underwater

Hi everyone,

I have looked around for Underwater Housings for the FZ35 to no available other than a Generic Underwater Bag, but nothing specific, I guess Panny reckons the TS-1 is designed for that application?

Any ideas I would love to get the FZ35 UW for some shots, I utilised the Sanyo E2 and the Olympus T6000 both with decent results...we do have a TS-1 (Wife's) that I am going to try out, I think it'll do much better than the T6000 on the whole...but the FZ35 would be great...

A few years back I found an underwater bag at a camera shop when
I was visiting family out of state, I put it in a bath tub, weighted it down,
and let it set under water, it leaked, only took about a few minites,
it was a "Dry Pak" brand bag, I never messed with it after that

But yea I would love a reliable underwater camera housing for this
camera,

That's the sore spot for me. Can't really trust those underwater bags especially diving here in New England; everything takes a banging and scraping on the rocks in low vis.

The bag is rated to 100 ft and I would rather see a higher rating especially if taking it down to wrecks. You want redundancy in dive gear and want a housing that rates much deeper than you plan on diving.

I'd also need a good strobe setup and there is really no provisions for that with the bag. Ikelite just doesn't have a case for us. The flash alone would be insufficient IMO. I searched and searched to no avail.

The only option I see:

1) A home made housing made of PVC and thick plexiglass and that's not easy and having one or 2 buttons operate.
.
2) Using a case for a similar style and having only a few buttons work or leaving the video on all the time.

My buddy has a bag for a different video camera and the seams parted fast after a few uses and he got it repaired and never uses it as he got a proper Ikelite case that's very large.
