Default Can I join you guys over here?

All packed up and ready to be returned is my Sony HX5. It's a neat little camera for what it is but I never did warm up to it the way I had hoped. But man, I loved being able to just stick it in my purse and go! Anyways, I have already ordered the FZ35 from B&H . I hope I like it. What's funny is that I researched and researched and researched to death before I got the HX5. It only took me a day to decide on the FZ35. I better like it!

You will love the FZ-35...it is very capable and can put out some great pictures...and video...it won't be as handy as the HX-5 as far as size, but if you like quality and performance you will enjoy it...I have three FZ35's...thats my story and I am sticking to it...

Welcome tallymom. I've noticed in the past decade, Sony's quality control is slipping to the wayside. A camcorder I got from them lasted a few months before it decided to break from maybe 5 hours of light usage. Their micro-cassette tapes keep breaking on me also. So I don't buy sony anything anymore.

I think you made a wise decision.

Hi & welcome Tallmom, FZ35 is a fabulous camera, u can't go wrong with video & puctures, to top it off it's soooo light to cart arround. Enjoy it when you get it. Spent lots of quality time with it to get to know the in's & outs Good choice.
