Thank you for your comment - I loved it too! To me it shows the wonderful quality of the FZ38. Now if only I can get other pictures to come out as good as that . . . I'll be very happy snapper!

Levicus - my apologies for not having replied sooner - wasn’t trying to ignore you, honestly! No, I don’t do portraiture - I don’t like photographing humans - they’re invariably over-critical of the results - picking out “a pimple” here, or “a wrinkle” there!
Did manage to “grab” this one - no time for positioning, posing, etc; plus heavy shadows - but I like the picture of this man as he is a larger-than-life character - and I can cope with that. I'd even have a go at doing some portraiture with him as the model!

No - it's Norwich, Norfolk. He's the city equivalent of the Town Crier - sorry that I don't know his correct title.
