Default Some pictures to share from Connecticut-1

I took a little expedition yesterday being inspired by the Documentary Series Life and how they showed how they did thier filming.

1) Took a lot of waiting and patience in the woods but I finally got an osprey to perch within 25 yards of me.

2) Osprey taking off.

3) Can you guess what it is ? Hints: Catadromous and Serragasso Sea.

4) Picture looking out at Branford, CT near the Thimble Islands.

5) Proof giants once roamed Connecticut near the mouth of the Connecticut River.

Something to do with eels? Allows migrating eels to go upstream - like a Salmon stair??

Excellent Woodbadger. Its an Eelovator we have special mesh inside it that the eels crawl through like a course sponge. We also have a catch basket inside where we collect the eels count them by weighing, and dump them into the pond, or bring them in for sampling.

Beyond the eelovator is an Alaskan Steep Pass fishway for the Alewives.

Now about those 2 balls I don't know where they came from and they are 4-5 ft in diameter.
