Rosa, if you have a Sams club membership they have some good prices on class 6 cards and I heard they work fine. your best bet for ordering online is Amazon. here is the card I have been using
http://www.amazon.com/Patriot-Class-...3318686&sr=1-1

I also have an A-Data card that I got off of Ebay but I have only tested it to make sure it works. it is mainly just a back up card in case something happens to the Patriot card. I might need it for vacation if I take a lot of videos and fill up the other card!

I hate to put a damper on all this, but the use of a flash in karate matches is dangerous. Tournaments are the use of controlled strikes, I have competed, and a flash could easily cause the loss of control and injury. I am amazed they allow such a thing. Get a DSLR.

I mentioned the flash prohibition in post #2 in this thread.

Rosa,

Don't be afraid to try the "High Sensitivity" mode, which is set in the SCN mode. I used it from long distance in a gymnasium at the opening ceremonies of this Little League season. The results, to my eye, are really quite good. The ISO as I recall was ISO3200. Give it a try and I think you'll be pleased.

hi everybody,

I just got my FZ 35 a couple of days ago, I bought it online at newegg.com, and I'm happy with the camara, this is my first kind of professional camara, and i got this one because of all the good reviews.
now is time for me to start reading and learning stuff to make photography a nice hobby, and thats why I found this forum.

i have a quick question, about the Tiffen 46mm UV Protection Filter, is that more for protecting the lens from scratching or is it for taking better pictures?
i dont know if i should get that.

I think this is a good deal also, if anybody is looking for a sdcard.

I use it for lens protection. It's a lot easier to clean also.
