Default Back to the tadpole pond

I took a hike back to the tadpole pond to see the progress of the underwater eggs. My buddy said these may be salamander eggs. It looks like they have turned green and are getting much nearer to hatching. If it’s not a nocturnal event, I hope to capture this if I have time.

Also pictured is a camouflaged butterfly or moth of some type hiding in the leaves and I like this exposure.

On a sad note, the pond was littered with beer can from some slobs that sneak up there at night. I decided to gather up all their garbage and throw it in their campfire. Maybe they will get the message.

It only took me 15 minutes to clean up and it was well worth the $80/hr they paid me plus a nice red tactical flashlight with a laser pointer.

I guess I grabbed some karma points but no bobbleheads were found.

Your welcome Cherokee. It was sweet finding the 20 bill and flashlight those litterers left behind. I must make more excursions up there.
