Default Bald Eagle

Hi all my 1st capture of a Bald Eagle. It was a hard shot to take as he was high in a tree and me right under him I know its a lil blurry but was so excited just to get the pic...lol.

That is a great shot!

It is very exciting to see these birds. I got to see one for the first time a few weeks ago and was lucky enough to have my camera. I also was lucky to have talked to another guy there that wanted me to email him the picture I took. He ended up forwarding it to the local paper and they used it(with my permission) in a story they were doing. If you didnt see it in my other thread here is the link.....

Excellent shot.
I have the same problem with the hawk nest in my yard. High up and lots of leaves. It really pushes the limits of the FZ35 zoom.

thanks I had to bust it down to 5mp to get more zoom a tcon is gonna be handy soon I think. OH and loved the other pic of the pair...very sweet shot

I tried the zoom Panasonic extender (couldn't get a Tcon except on backorder.) Ended up sending it back. Mainly I didn't want to fool with a tripod and to me, the slightly larger zoomed pictures were not worth the expense.
