Thanks

No not really Greg...but I will soon...I have been wanting to and have enjoyed the versatility of the FZ35 so much that I have left the 7D at home...but I use the 7D for other social outings with family, etc for some great photo album shots...

I'll get it out and stick on the Nifty Fifty and grab the Extension Tubes and hit the trails with it to see what I can come up with...good idea...

Yes all with the FZ35...it is amazingly simple and easy to work with and does a good job for a $229 camera + $60 Macro lens...I used a Monopod for all these also...a lot of fun...

This one:
http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-DMW-.../dp/B000FTLN02
And you require this to mount it to the FZ35:
http://www.amazon.com/5025232438402-...4020299&sr=1-5
The adapter is a 55.8mm to 55mm adapter:
This adapter is cheaper and will also work:

LT - can you do a few comparison shots using the macro lens, adapter versus the "standard" macro settings of the FZ35?

How much

These are for Greg's comparision...all from 7D and 17-55 lens...and here's a link to some comparable FZ35 Macros that are outstanding in my old eyes, the FZ35 is amazing with that Macro Lens on...

Clint I will get some Macros from the camera without the TC-55 Macro Converter on board today sometime and post them...it looks like to me the Macro Converter (Panasonic LC-55) is basically a extremely good magnifying glass that you put on the front of the FZ35 and then it can only zoom a short length but can "see" much better with the converter on therefore giving much better detailed shots...
