Default Awesome!

These are great and dispels everything about what this camera seems to lack. It lacks people who will take the time to make the most of what they have is what the real problem is.

Seems that way with a LOT of the new cameras coming out! People expect magic right out of the box without taking the time to learn the equipment.

Thanks for the kind words...it is a really neat little handy camera...I can't see the ZS3 being that much greater in IQ at least from a Macro standpoint...

It is fantastic - unless you are a PPP (paranoid-pixel-peeper), or a certain Spanish narcissist at DPR... ;-)

Thanks LT as usual :-)

Excellent LTZ! You either have the patience of a Saint or a lot of bugs in your yard...

Another great set of photos, LTZ-

These look great! I would say that you have mastered the Macro Class with the ZS7.

LT I am running out of superlatives. All are great, but 5 and 12 are breathtaking - world class. Your eye for composition has really evolved IMHO. Have you thought of getting a Flickr pro account so we can enjoy your photos in their full sized glory?

And you are a gracious gentleman to- boot. I am so glad I found Steve's, I may not be posting much at present, but my daily visits to this site really are inspirational, getting to share the different places where youo all live, and the wonder and beauty of this marvellous planet we call home.
